This work is a series of oil paintings first exhibited in 2019 at the Foyer Gallery located in the theatre Neues Theater in Halle. Part of a larger project that investigates the myth of success, this series was shown alongside a live performance, video work, text, music and photographs on canvas. It is a reflection on Bettina John’s earlier work titled “The Success Cycle” and a development of her Alter Ego Belinda Evangelica.
